Claudie Lavallee - English

I create figures in wood, mostly basswood (Tilia). My sculptures are colored with translucent acrylic washes and dyes. I use sketches and clay models to develop my work. I specialize in caricature carving and I like to represent figures in amusing situations. I also enjoy creating sculptures on specific themes chosen by clients.
